A proud native of Hawai‘i, Luvonne Sharr began her hospitality career as a teenage lei greeter and rose to senior sales roles with iconic brands including Outrigger Resorts, Caesars Palace, and Mandalay Bay, managing events for up to 15,000 attendees. In Texas, she became a top-producing Senior Sales Manager at Intercontinental Houston and set records at The Woodlands Resort, earning accolades such as Manager of the Year and Top Producer. She later led the $130M rebranding of La Torretta Lake Resort into a Four-Diamond, IACC-certified conference center.

In 2010, driven by the trust and demand of her loyal client base, Luvonne launched Lokahi Meeting Resources (LMR), a full-service planning firm renowned for strategic hotel contract negotiations, seamless event logistics, and high-impact results. Her portfolio spans corporate conferences, charity golf tournaments, festivals, nonprofit galas, and political campaigns—including a winning 2025 campaign as Campaign Manager.
